I want to understand the why behind what I'm working on — once I have that, I can see how the pieces fit together and where my work belongs in the bigger picture.
I lean reflective by default: I'd rather sit with a problem, read around it, and come back with something considered than react in the moment. That's true of feedback too — I take it in best when I've had a beat to think before I respond.
I'm drawn to leading and to strategy, and I do my sharpest thinking in quiet stretches on my own. But I'm genuinely conversational once the thinking is ready to be shared, and a bit of humor and flexibility in how the day is shaped goes a long way with me.
