I like to understand the why behind what I'm working on — once the bigger picture is clear, I can line my work up against it and move quickly.
That's probably why I lean logical and reflective in roughly equal measure: I want the reasoning to hold up, and I want a beat to think it through before I respond.
Give me clear deadlines and a structure to work inside and I'm happy. I tend to prefer things in writing, especially for anything complex or when feedback is involved — I'd rather sit with it, process, and come back with something considered than react in the moment.
Lately I'm paying more attention to how I show up in live conversations — meetings, public speaking, the real-time stuff — since so much of the work I care about happens there too.
